Personal Challenge Down!!

Personal Challenge Completed: Get 2011 Valentine's Day Shots of the Boys

They didn't turn out amazing or anything...but it's funny to do them anyway. I could get nicer pictures if they could stay still for more than 0.3 of a second but no. In any event, I got them dressed up for Vday BEFORE Vday actually happened so this challenge is now completed:

Challenge Complete - Photograph a Street Lamp; On & Off

I completed my streetlamp challenge today. It's the first one I've completed on my objects challenge list:

Street Lamp On (taken January 6, 2011)

Street Lamp Off (taken February 2, 2011)

I actually plan on doing this challenge again in summer just to switch it up since both of these were taken in the snow.

1/3 Monthly Challenges Down

I attempted this in the summer but failed...took me a few months to finally remember to take a picture on the 1st to start the cycle. December 2010 marks 31 days of Boo. Below is a collage of the 31 photos, they go in order (first row is Dec 1 - Dec 4; second is Dec 5 - 8; and so on). Uploading all 31 of them seemed too annoying and time consuming so I thought this would work better. The actual challenge for me is to take one picture each day for an entire month on the same subject. The reason I want to do this challenge 3 times is to capture all three of my dogs. So below is 11 year old golden retriever Becca aka Boo.

Challenge Complete

I have completed my first challenge from my 2010-2011 Challenge List (blog here).

Try creating a DIY bokeh. Photo evidence below. This one was a recent add, I admit. I have been wanting to do this for over a year now and finally went out and got the materials to try it the cheap way. I tried three different styles - heart, star, and paw print. Of course, this completes the challenge for list purposes but brings on a whole new one - mastering the bokeh. I also have many more ideas for shapes.
